Origamies LLC ("Origamies," "we," "us," or "our"), doing business as Claws, provides the Claws mobile application ("Claws" or the "app"). Claws is an AI-powered companion that helps you care for and chat about your cat. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Claws. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. Claws is intended only for adults, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to register an account. If we learn that someone under 18 has registered, we will terminate the account.

2. Your Account

You create an account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you use to sign in, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Claws is a subscription-based app. Subscriptions unlock fuller access to the app, with higher usage allowances on higher plans. We may offer a free trial (currently three days) so you can try Claws before paying. The features, allowances, and pricing of our plans are shown in the app and may change over time.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and are subject to Apple's terms. The following applies to auto-renewing subscriptions:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
• If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, it will convert into a paid subscription.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies. To request a refund, contact Apple directly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Upload images or content that you do not have the right to share, or that depict other people without their consent
• Submit content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable
• Use the app to harm, harass, or abuse others
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the app or its underlying services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Attempt to manipulate or misuse the AI features, including to generate unlawful or harmful content

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion. To report objectionable content or behavior — including objectionable AI responses — contact us at support@joinclaws.com. We review reports and may remove content or take action at our discretion.

5. Your Content

"Your Content" means the messages, photos, and information you provide to Claws, including details about your cat. You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content to operate, provide, and secure the app and to comply with law — including sending it to our AI providers to generate Claws's responses, as described in our Privacy Policy. The AI providers we use may change over time, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to share it with us.

6. AI Features and No Professional Advice

Claws is an AI companion created for entertainment and companionship. Claws is a fictional character, not a real animal or a person, and its responses are generated automatically by artificial intelligence.

AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Claws does not provide veterinary, medical, mental-health, or other professional advice, and nothing it says should be relied on as such. If your cat is unwell, injured, or in distress, consult a qualified veterinarian. If you are experiencing a personal or medical emergency, contact a qualified professional or emergency services. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on the app. Claws is not designed to receive sensitive personal information through your chats, and you provide any such information at your own risk.

Claws is not a crisis, counseling, medical, or emergency service, and it is not monitored by a human in real time. 7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Claws — including its design, text, graphics, characters, and code — are owned by Origamies LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app's settings. Once deletion is initiated, it cannot be undone, and your personal data — including your cat's information, your chat history, and any uploaded images — is deleted; certain internal logging records may persist for up to 30 days before they are removed. Account deletion is permanent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Claws is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that its AI responses will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Origamies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, interruption of service, or reliance on any AI-generated content.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the app at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

12. Apple-Specific Terms

This agreement is between you and Origamies LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. Origamies LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and any claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. In the event of any third-party intellectual property claim, Origamies LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce this agreement against you.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in the courts located in Richmond, Virginia.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
